Twyford today is in the Royal County of Berkshire and has a population of over 7,000 people. Although a town it is still known by the locals as a village. There is also a good local bus service in the village going to Reading and Maidenhead which takes approximately 30 minutes to each location. Parking There is a long stay public pay and display car park in Polehampton Close with 39 bays and there are also 324 parking spaces at the Station car park, which is either pay and display or permit parking.
